Comparing Surrogacy, Adoption and Fostering for gay men
Most gay male couples and single men living in the US and Canada have three options to consider for family building: surrogacy & IVF, adoption and foster care.
Surrogacy allows gay couples and single gay men to be biologically connected to their child.
Adoption is the process by which a birth parent chooses you to become the forever parent(s) of their newborn baby.
Foster care offers several options: you can become a temporary guardian of one or more children (aged newborn to the age of majority for your state) or a permanent parent to those whom have deemed “ready for adoption.”
